Happy New Year!

Anyway, this will be a continuation of the train of thought I had on the last entry. I only listed down the things I wanted to buy, and didn't really get to write down the things I wanted to get done within this new year.

In the few days that passed, I began to think about the Legend of Zelda timeline, and how I could relate the complexity of the 3 branching timelines with the things that I wanna do this year. Basically, I'd want to split the things I'll want to be doing into three categories—3 different timelines:
  • The Adult Timeline — this is the timeline where I'll focus more on the things that I NEED to buy, like a new PC, better camera equipment, an iPad Mini, a digital drawing tablet, etc. Mostly it'll focus on buying things that'll help me with producing creative stuff, rather than consuming stuff.
  • The Child Timeline — this is the timeline where I focus more on buying video games, collecting Retro Games, buying new gaming consoles, and focusing on being a streamer of some sort. I'll end up buying physical copies of games, start buying toys like Beyblade, Gundam, Voltes V, Mazinger Z, Voltron, Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, etc. Mostly, I'll be a collector.
  • The Balanced Timeline — this timeline isn't part of the 3 timelines from Legend of Zelda, since the remaining timeline is the one where Link fails to defeat Ganondorf. This is the timeline where I try to find a balance between the Child & Adult Timeline. This is probably the timeline I need to focus more on, and to refine more. This is the timeline that still needs to be planned out.

A bonus timeline would be The Darkest Timeline, where all things go to shit...but let's not get into that too much.

*Side story*

Last night, as I was looking through Lazada, I was looking through Beyblades and weird toys that can be bought in the online store app, and somehow I came across this laptop named the Lenovo Chromebook N4020. It's this 9k laptop that's available for purchase on GameXtreme, which was what got my attention, because it's a lower that 10k laptop that's got some decent specs on it. Decent is too generous to be used in this scenario, but let me give you some context to the laptop.

It's got 4GB RAM, 64GB Internal Storage, and you can download apps via Google Play. It's basically an Android device with a keyboard and trackpad stuck to it. It is the perfect thing that I need right now if I want to be able to write more and create more for my YouTube Channel...but here's the trouble I'll be facing:
  • I don't know if the laptop's even gonna be fast enough for my speed, or if it'll last me about 3 years maximum, which is the average lifespan of a regular smartphone or device (if you're someone who takes care of your smart device, that is).
    • But I will say that I definitely made the wrong decision when I bought my Huawei Tablet. I get that it allowed me to discover certain useful websites that provided you with cracked APKs, but with the lack of Google Support for the device, my tablet's just for content consuming. I bought that thing so that I could potentially write on it, and read PDF files on it. I can read on it, yes. No issue on that one, but when it comes to writing on it, I have a hard time, because I prefer to write on Evernote, and my tablet can't install Evernote on it for some reason...that's a deal breaker, and the deal was already made.
    • So buying this small laptop can be beneficial to me because it'll be a dedicated device that will allow me to just focus on being productive...but the certainty of that being the case is still...uncertain.
